me was the removal of the tape. After the one week. It hurt so much
when the ripped it off. The actual surgery itself, was much less painful
then I had anticipated. If I would have known how happy it would have
made me and what a simple procedure it would be, I would have done it
sooner!

Reason for this shape: The doctor chose anatomical during surgery when
he didn't like the way the round implants looked. I wanted to be fuller
on the bottom, with a slight upturn to my nipples. The round ones flattened
out too much because my chest and skin were tight.

badly, i.e., pulling inward so that my right nipple is being pulled
down and in. Hopefully it will loosen as it heals. Other than that,
they are healing and softening rapidly and already look great.

Reason for this shape: Because I had learned of other women who had
textured anatomical implants that flipped over in its pocket. Also I
chose smooth because my surgeon felted that not enough studies have
been done on tearshaped, textured, and I agree. (He was probably protecting
himself from future lawsuits I assume, as during the old silicone days,
most doctors were involved in many legal battles. I prefer to have something
we already know a lot about too.

WORST PART OF SURGERY/COMPLICATIONS: Trying to sleep from day one to
21, and trying not to be so nervous the few days before. I had one breast
start to go very red, after discharge from the hospital, on the entire
side, which got progressively worse within 24 hours. I was sick with
worry that it was infected. (which my surgeon said, if it was, it would
have to be removed immediately and that I would not be able to have
implants). It turned out to be a bruise which disappeared within 2 days.

the decision about size, deciding if I should wait until after having
children etc. Also it is hard to give up your independence for the next
few weeks ( no driving, needing help dressing and bathing ) Also now
that it has been over a week I expect them to both be back to normal
or at least however they will be from now on. Has anyone else had one
appear larger at first ?

quite uncomfortable for a week, but really I can't complain. Really
I think the hardest part may be when friends who don't know about the
surgery start to speculate and ask questions.

along with trying to decide on the right cc size for me and whether
to go over or under the chest muscle was the worst part of it. Oh yeah
and after surgery I was sooooo sick. I think from the anestecia. Telling
my mother was extremely difficult think the easiest thing was actually
being rolled into the operating room, but at that point I couldn't believe
I was really going through with it.

Reason for this shape: Mine are Trilucents (soya oil filled); got my
ba done in London. My PS convinced me round would look most natural
over the long run. I didn't want silicone-gel filled implants even though
I could have got them here.

surgery. It's really more moving them around in the pockets "to keep
the pockets as large as possible" per the doctor. I started doing it
once an hour; now do about 4 times a day and plan to continue for first
year.

WORST PART OF SURGERY/COMPLICATIONS: Waking up mostly "out of it," but
shaking violently from being cold; sleeping sitting up for the first
couple of weeks; the extreme sensitivity to anything (clothing-wise)
touching them or the incisions in my underarms. The sensitivity situation
has MUCH improved over the past 2 weeks. However, I have numbness in
my right armpit, left nipple, and lower halves of both boobs. Doctor
says this will probably return to normal over next 6 months to a year,
but then again, there are no guarantees. I am SO glad I had this done;
would never have done it if Trilucents hadn't come along. They are very
good-looking (my husband is ecstatic) and started "falling" at the 4-week
point. They always felt soft, but now are even more so. Only thing I
would change is I'd have gone BIGGER, probably 360-390ccs. I'm happy
with the volume to the sides and below, but wanted more "projection."
