After extensive training in some of the nation’s finest medical schools, receiving a variety of prestigious awards and honors for his work, and donating his surgical skills to those in need in Honduras and Vietnam, Dr. Arthur Cambeiro returned to his native Las Vegas to offer cosmetic surgery to his fellow Nevadans.  He particularly enjoys his role in the transformations he helps create for his Las Vegas area breast enlargement patients.  “Seeing dreams come true every day is extremely rewarding,” Dr. Cambeiro notes.

More About Dr. Cambeiro, Las Vegas Plastic Surgeon

Beginning with his earliest educational experiences at Bishop Gorman Preparatory School in Las Vegas, Dr. Cambeiro excelled in his studies.  He graduated from USC in the Psychobiology Honors Program, then received the Owens-Swan award as the most promising student in his class at the University of Colorado, where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree. 

Continuing his education in Phoenix, Arizona, Dr. Cambeiro spent five years training in general/vascular trauma surgery in the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency Program.  During this experience, he served as Chief Surgery Resident and scored in the 99th percentile in the country on his American Board of Surgery exams.  He then relocated to Rochester, Minnesota, for further training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the world famous Mayo Clinic.

During his years in training, Dr. Cambeiro took the opportunity to offer his skills to those in need in developing countries.  After graduating from the University of Colorado, he traveled to Honduras to perform missionary work in local medical clinics as a general surgeon.  During his time at the Mayo Clinic, he participated with an organization called Global Health Outreach, donating his expertise to children in Vietnam with congenital facial defects.

Dr. Cambeiro is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and American Board of Plastic Surgery.  He is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

With his extensive education, many years of training and experience, and his background in psychology as well as surgery, Dr. Cambeiro is qualified to help his patients examine their ideas about beauty inside and out and achieve their dreams.
