Our Plastic Surgeons:

Because we educate mostly breast surgery, liposuction and tummy tuck patients; we require our plastic surgeons to be certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, which qualifies the surgeon to perform both body and facial procedures. By choosing an American Board of Plastic Surgery certified plastic surgeon; patients are ensured the surgeon has graduated from an accredited medical school and completed at least five years of residency (usually three years of general surgery and two years of plastic surgery). An ABPS certified plastic surgeon must also practice for two years and pass written and oral examinations in plastic surgery.

There are over 5000 ABPS certified plastic surgeons, and of them only a small percentage are invited to join our plastic surgeon directory. I have personally checked the qualifications of our member surgeons. In fact, our plastic surgeons meet higher standards than those of any other referral service as we only list select plastic surgeons to be in our referral directory. Our plastic surgeons must also maintain that standard in order to remain in our surgeon directory.

About Cosmetic Surgeons:
Some refer to plastic surgeons as cosmetic surgeons; however, a plastic surgeon is what you really want. Most doctors calling themselves "cosmetic surgeons" are not true plastic surgeons and are not qualified or experienced in plastic surgery. To be sure you are seeing a "true" plastic surgeon for any body plastic surgery, such as lipo, tummy tucks and breast enhancement implant augmentation choose an American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) certified plastic surgeon.

Dr. Kitsos offers plastic surgery in Miami and Fort Lauderdale. He holds dual certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He is also a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

With almost four decades of surgical experience helping people look and feel their best, Dr. Kitsos believes in creating an open dialogue with his patients about their cosmetic goals. For instance, he says that Fort Lauderdale and Miami area women, “should feel comfortable about sharing their goals concerning breast implants and feel confident that their surgeon is not only highly skilled but is willing to offer honest, impartial, expert recommendations based on years of experience.” Dr. Kitsos has performed thousands of breast augmentation procedures, and also helps women and men improve their appearance through procedures such as face lifts and tummy tucks (abdominoplasty).

Dr. Wendell Perry, M.D.

Dr. Perry offers plastic surgery in Miami and Fort Lauderdale. He received both his undergraduate and Medical Doctor degrees from Howard University, and remained at Howard for his General Surgery internship and residency. As a resident at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C., Dr. Perry received the "Resident of the Year” Award and was a member of the Surgical Education Committee. After completing his residency, Dr. Perry completed a Burn Surgery fellowship at the University of Southern California, in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He then completed a 2-year residency at the University of Miami’s Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Perry has over a decade of specialty training and has been in private practice in Florida for 6 years. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the Florida Society of Plastic Surgeons and the National Medical Society.

Dr. Jon Harrell, D.O., F.A.C.S

Dr. Harrell offers plastic surgery in Miami and Fort Lauderdale. He is dedicated to remaining on the leading edge of innovative surgery techniques and seeks to educate his patients about their full range of cosmetic improvement options. He has over 20 years of surgical experience and is board-certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology.

In addition to performing breast enlargement for Fort Lauderdale and Miami area women, Dr. Harrell is an accomplished surgeon in facial sculpting and body contouring techniques. A frequent guest on radio and media programs, Dr. Harrell also devotes time to training the next generation of surgeons as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Nova Southeastern University. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, and several other state and national societies. Dr. Harrell enjoys taking the time to get to know his patients and sharing in their surgical successes.
