Dr. Marcus was born and raised in the Midwest where he also attended undergraduate and medical school. He received his Plastic Surgery training in the Detroit area under the direction of Dr. Robert Pool, renowned innovator and author in the plastic surgery field.
After completing his extensive training, Dr. Marcus moved to Santa Rosa in 1986 to begin his cosmetic surgery practice. Throughout his years in practice, Dr. Marcus has continued to advance his skills and knowledge, and uses all the latest techniques and state-of-the-art equipment in his surgical practice. Dr. Marcus specializes in facelifts, breast enhancement and body sculpting, and is well-known for his "natural-looking" results.
Dr. Marcus is married and has three teenage sons. He is active in the community, particularly around youth sports and coaching.

Dr. Heiffitz has been an integral part of our cosmetic surgical team since 1996. Dr. Heiffetz is a board certified anesthesiologist who has been in practice in Santa Rosa since 1987. Our patients are put at ease by Dr. Heiffetz' soothing demeanor and are reassured that they will rest comfortably during surgery and recover quickly from the gentle anesthetics used.
Jessica Friedman, RN, BSN
Jessica specializes in Botox, Sculptra, Restylane, Collagen, and Cosmoderm/Cosmoplast Injections, Thermage and micropigmentation (permanent makeup). She is a well-known expert in her field and trainer of other health care professionals. We are pleased and forturnate to have her in our office. Jessica also performs sclerotherapy and electrocautery for spider vein treatment, as well as medical skin peels, such as Obaji Blue Peel.

After three pregnancies (all cesarean sections), I felt self-conscious about the excess skin on my abdomen, even though I had lost most of the extra weight I had gained during pregnancy. As far as I am concerned, Botox is one of the miracle discoveries of the 20th Century! Ever since I was a teenager I had deep lines between my eyebrows and across my forehead. People always thought I looked angry or sad.
Dr. Marcus injected Botox into my forehead muscles and even though he said I might not see results right away, within minutes of my first injections my forehead lines were markedly diminished, and within a couple of days they were gone completely.
It is a quick and inexpensive procedure that softened the "stern" look of my face, and I think took several years off my face. I would do it again in a second!
In just two hours I went from a very underdeveloped, flat chest that I had always been ashamed of to a rounder, softer, beautiful figure that I just love.
Just a quick note of thanks and appreciation. I love my new breasts and so does my husband. Also, I just went to see my O.B., and he was amazed at the results. He said I had the most natural looking breast augmentation he had ever seen! (And he has a very busy practice!) Thank you so much!

My expectations prior to my breast augmentation were that of having a more proportional appearance in relation to my small waist and frame, without obvious notice that I had had such a surgery performed. That was realized three weeks after my surgery when my father and mother came to visit, at which time my father, not realizing I had surgery performed, made mention to me (at the age of 45) how I looked as beautiful as when I was 15. It looks like, thanks to you, I more than reached my goal.
I underwent breast implant surgery earlier this year. I wanted fuller looking breasts. I was not very nervous about the procedure since I have already gained trust in Dr. Marcus from my facelift he performed earlier. The results of both are astounding! I am so glad I found Dr. Marcus. My new breasts are just perfect! I always had very small breasts, but after breastfeeding two babies, I decided it was time to do something about it. My eyes have always been what I considered one of my best features. Then at about age 40 people started telling me regularly that I looked tired even when I wasn't. I also started to develop dark circles and considerable wrinkling under my eyes. I wasn't sure what I needed, but I made an appointment with Dr. Marcus on the recommendation of a good friend. I can't tell you how thankful I am I did.
Dr. Marcus recommended laser skin resurfacing under my eyes, and eyelid surgery on my upper eyelids. I didn't even realize that my upper lids were affecting my appearance, but Dr. Marcus was absolutely right! I had very little swelling and bruising on the upper lids, and I had redness on the lower eyelids for a week (which could be concealed with makeup on the third day).
I am so thankful for Dr. Marcus for his artful and skillful work, and for his staff who made the whole experience a pleasure. I highly recommend Dr. Marcus to anyone considering cosmetic surgery in the bay area. We are so lucky to have him in Sonoma County.

Dr. Marcus performed a facelift on me five years ago at age 46. I was initially concerned about facial surgery before I spoke to Dr. Marcus because I actually liked the way I looked, and I didn't want to look different.
