Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Procedures Scarless Breast AugmentationThis operation is highly individualized for each patient. A considerable amount of time will be spent during the initial consultation to decide on the specific shape and size one would like to achieve. Our surgery center is specially designed for the safety and comfort of our patients undergoing breast augmentation. The operations take approximately one hour to complete and are performed under a twilight sleep type of anesthesia along with local anesthesia. Most women are able to resume ordinary activities within a few days, go back to an office type job situation within 5-7 days, and are back at full physical activity in 3-4 weeks. We offer free lifetime follow-up on a yearly basis for breast enlargement and, an interesting point is that patients rarely take advantage of this. In discussing this with some of our patients, we found the reason to be that most women feel the results to be so natural both physically and psychologically, they frequently forget they've had the operation done. This operation can sometimes be performed for a condition called asymmetry where one breast is larger than the other. It is sometimes performed along with a breast lift operation, if necessary. It sometimes may be performed along with scarless breast reduction, on the opposite side. There are several different approaches that can be used, including the TUBA, each leaving a minimal scar; and, several different types of implants that can be used depending upon the patient's shape and anatomy.
