I was curious about the anatomicals because I wanted a natural appearance. I honestly believe that if you have a great doctor you can get a great result no matter which implant. BRAND: Inamed (formerly McGhan) MUSCLE: Under HAPPY WITH PLACEMENT?: Yes BRUISED?: yes STRETCH MARKS?: no TYPE: Textured MASSAGE?: yes MASSAGE COMMENTS: I was told at 4 weeks to massage daily. I massage for about 5 minutes daily by first squeezing the implants together with my upperarms right in front of my abdomen. I then move them with my hands in an inward circular motion. This helps to keep the pocket open toward the cleavage area. PAIN SCALE 1-6: 6-Felt like I've been hit by a truck HOW SOON THE IMPLANTS SETTLED OR SOFTENED: Around 4 weeks it was noticeable, at that time the swelling had gone and the bloating also. RIPPLES?: no HAPPY OVERALL?: yes CHANGE IN NIPPLE SENSATION: I do have numbness from the lower portion of my nipples down to the incision site. I have had sudden stabs or pricks of pain in those areas, which is a normal sensation as the nerves regenerate. Permanent?? It is too soon to tell, I was told that your sensory nerves can take up to a year to regenerate in that area. But experience has shown me it can even take longer. So I am not worried. FOUND SITE: Intradesign implant forum. COMPLICATIONS: No complications, but in one incision a stitch loosened and the scar is wider there. I had drains and one was difficult to remove, which was painful but bearable.

Settled faster than they softened. RIPPLES?: yes RIPPLE COMMENTS: On inside (cleavage) area at bottom of each breast where it meets the breastline. Can feel it, not see it. A lot of bruising. Breastline incisions attempted to "spit out" the
resorbable stitches, so I wore surgical tape for two weeks. Had
severe allergic skin reaction to the glue in the tape. Took two weeks
to clear up a horrible, raw,itching,burning,scaly redness that spread
down ribcage. I had drains after surgery, and I believe this is why they were soft from the beginning. I noticed that they "dropped into place" two to three months after surgery. RIPPLES?: yes RIPPLE COMMENTS: I can feel ripples under my left breast, but I cannot see them. I can see some slight ripples on the outside of left breast, but they are barley visible. My surgeon pointed them out at my 6-month post op checkup. Otherwise I would not have noticed them. HAPPY OVERALL?: yes CHANGE IN NIPPLE SENSATION: My nipples are slightly more sensitive. The anatomical shape appears to be more of a natural look verses the round higher shaped that a younger woman might choose. I am now going into my 4 month and my set of "twins" are very soft to the touch, pliable and settled. My PS has been excellent with my post-op appointments and assures me that I will still notice improvement each month and by one year everything should be back to normal COMPLICATIONS: I had no complications during surgery or post-op. I did my research, asked plenty of questions and was fortunate to have a wonderful, caring PS. The healing part of the surgery requires us to BE PATIENT with our bodies. This is major surgery and requires us to let nature take it's time in repairing itself. My PS told me during our first discussion to expect a one year total recovery. I am now all most 4 months post-op and with each week feel that he is right.
