My Breast Implant Redo SurgeryThe thought of breast augmentation never crossed my mind. I didn’t have a positive or negative thought about it until I had my second child. I lost all of my natural breast tissue after breast feeding and was left with two saggy utters. After listening to a girlfriend go on and on about her “new boobs” and seeing how much better she looked I decided to have breast augmentation. I did ZERO research. I never researched any doctors so I didn’t know what board certified was nor did I care. I took a name of a doctor a friend went with and scheduled my surgery. My consult and surgery went fine. Unfortunately my results weren’t. I ended up with problems. My photos can be found on Dr. Baker's page here.
After coming to the realization that these problems were not going to go away I gave into the idea of another surgery. This time I was prepared though. I read about board certified doctors and the difference of using one to not using one. I knew to research doctors. After I had all the information I needed to make an educated choice on who would fix my problems I choice Dr. Dwight Baker. Not only was I impressed with him but I was highly impressed with his staff. On my consult (which I choose to do a month prior to surgery) he listened to all my concerns. Not once did I ever feel rushed.
A month later I drove to Dothan for my surgery. When I arrived at Flowers Hospital I was immediately taken care of by the staff. Dr. Baker was running late due to another surgery but I thought to myself “take your time, do it right”. One thing I must add is that during consult and before entering the operating room Dr. Baker kept saying “I will try to get you where you want to be” but he made NO promises. I wanted to go up in size and he really didn’t think he could because I was so tight beforehand. Little did either of us know that I had a lot of scar tissue and in fact I had plenty of room for a larger implant. I don’t know how long it took but I remember waking up and hearing Dr. Baker personally apologize to me that my surgery took so long. He wanted to make sure it was perfect.
Well. Here I sit a year and half later with absolutely no problems. Dr. Baker did get it perfect! My opinion is Dr. Baker is one of the TOP surgeons in the US. I take this from the fact of how many successful surgeries he has had. He is the only doctor for me.
