WARNING: LinxOwner.com

LinxOwner.com is a link scheme company. They send out spam emails such as one they sent to IMPLANTFORUM's email! Here's a snippet, mailed 8/24/09:

Do you realize how many potential customers implantforum.com is losing out on everyday? ...

Take the keyword "dothan liposuction surgeon", the person who typed that in to the search engine is looking to hire you...right now.

But they can’t because you're ranked # 71 in Google.

I Googled "dothan liposuction surgeon", we're #19, that puts us on page 2, but no one searches "dothan liposuction surgeon" anyway! See more below about the term "dothan liposuction surgeon".

They go on to say...

"dothan liposuction surgeon" is just one of over 30 keywords your not ranked for but need to be. Why? Because these are the keywords your potential customers look up by the thousands each and every month.

The same day they sent this email I checked with Google for "dothan liposuction surgeon" and they don't have enough data to say how many people actually searched that term last month! 30 days Google complied keywords and they didn't have enough people searching the term "dothan liposuction surgeon". But, if you LinxOwner.com will rank you high for it! Hmm and if you do that, what GOOD terms would you be losing out on because LinxOwner.com worked on "dothan liposuction surgeon" for your site!

The LinxOwner.com website says:

"We have made it possible for you to get over 100 new links pointing at your website every single month for a fraction of the cost of what other link building services charge. The reason for this is instead of trying to buy links on websites owned by other businesses, our company owns over 10,000 websites."

But Google says:

"...link exchange schemes ... This is in violation of Google's webmaster guidelines and can negatively impact your site's ranking in search results."

Maybe LinxOwner.com shouldn't talk so much about Google when they don't even follow the Google guidelines. But, I think LinxOwner.com is just out to take your money for search terms no one uses, which is why it would be easy for them to get a page to rank high for terms like "dothan liposuction surgeon".

I also checked an independant site that ranks SEO, it ranked LinxOwner.com at 68% and while LinxOwner.com is disparaging ImplantForum.com, we have a 98% SEO rank.

LinxOwner.com trend rank is #1,455,919: Down 55,436 ranks over the last three months. Ouch!

LinxOwner.com also sent a client of mine a similar email. So, I called LinxOwner.com to ask them to remove my site from their false advertising. They haven't returned my call and LinxOwner.com continues to disparage us in the spam emails.

So then I check to see who owned LinxOwner.com but they hid their info (ie, they pay extra for the owner info to be private). Hmm, I don't hide that I own this LEGIT website, why would LinxOwner.com need to hid?

Knowing what I know about SEO and marketing LinxOwner.com gave me a good laugh. But for those that gave money to LinxOwner.com, I don't think they feel the same about LinxOwner.com.

LinxOwner.com is a sham and a fraud and if they don't stop with their false advertising our attorney will be contacting LinxOwner.com.

This is just a quick summery about LinxOwner.com, I'll try to write more about LinxOwner.com later as well as other link exchange schemes.

Lastly, did you think they were going for LinxOwner.com or LinXowner.com? Ok, it must be LinxOwner.com. But the Linxowner.com logo says LinksLeads.com.
